Meet Monae

“Mae Mae”

Hello! Thank you for your interest in Honey House! I’m Monae, but the kiddos call me “Mae Mae”. I am a newly retired Kindergarten teacher (of 23 years) from the Madison School District, and I come from a long line of caregivers.

I created the Honey House Learning Center to return to the foundation of teaching, starting with the youngest of learners. I want to get back to my roots, where learning happens through play and exploration.

In the couple of years since Honey House opened, I have found that working with smaller groups allows for more individualized care, which is a joy for me and beneficial to them. I enjoy watching them flourish at this young age, and I’m thankful to be a part of their journey.

Honey House

Honey House is a full-time home daycare with a learning center setting. Honey House provides safe and loving care, while also delivering specific and tailored learning opportunities. Children learn through activities and lessons that are guided by the Arizona Early Learning Standards. Developmental milestones and individual goals are established by working closely with parents, setting little ones up for success in kindergarten.

Honey House caters to groups of up to 5 children who are age 4 and under, giving an opportunity to learn and grow together for years to come.
